Lisa Cox
Vice President of Operations
Lisa Cox’s career blends engineering know-how, customer service, and leadership in both the mechanical and controls trades. She began her professional journey in Gulf Breeze, Florida, where she spent six years in the customer service industry, an experience that shaped her people-first approach to project delivery. She later returned to school to earn a B.S. in Industrial Engineering Technology, pairing technical rigor with real-world responsiveness.
Before joining Gulf States Automation, Lisa spent ten years as a project manager with a mechanical contractor, leading complex field teams and coordinating across trades. For the past twenty years at GSA, she has been proud to help guide the company’s growth while preserving its family atmosphere.
Lisa most strongly identifies with GSA’s core value of Respect, treating colleagues, customers, and community members with kindness and professionalism while applying the Golden Rule in every interaction. Her ability to foster trust and maintain positive relationships, even under demanding workloads, makes her an invaluable leader.
Outside of work, Lisa enjoys competing in bass fishing tournament trails, where patience, preparation, and quick decision-making are part of the thrill. And these are skills she brings back to every project she leads.
